Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic
Job Description and Requirements:
USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to work out of Ft. Eustis, VA.
Summary:**A school trained ground support equipment mechanic will work in an aviation field and sustainment activity to support US Army aviation assets.**
Requirements:**- High School Diploma or equivalent
* 5 years of relevant experience.
* Applicants selected will be subject to a national agency check.
* Medical physical required to operate powered aviation ground support equipment.
* Present accredited GSE maintenance training certificates or a military DD Form 214 with pertinent coursework.
* Have a valid state driver's license to operate US Government vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
* Maintain equipment used for flying operations.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair equipment malfunctions.
* Solve repairs by studying drawings, wiring schematics and technical manuals.
* Inspect, determine repairs, order parts, replace components, and maintain bench stock.
* Order consumables, service equipment with refrigerants, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, compressed air, gasoline, oil, nitrogen and filters.
* Change tires as required.
* Maintain equipment records and document maintenance.
* Mark, stencil inspections dates as required.
* Perform weight lifting device testing as required as per current technical reference.
* Perform corrosion prevention processes as required per technical reference.
* Maintain compressors, jack stands, ground power units, airmobile trailers, engine stands, various adapter stands, steam cleaners, floor sweepers,
vacuum cleaners, and other pertinent equipment.
* Establish schedule of equipment by serial number, supported unit, and maintain pertinent technical references as required.
* Dispose of hazardous waste, oils, fluids as per environmental standard operating procedures.
* Engage with local LAR to solve maintenance problems with equipment.
* Apply government approved modifications on ground support equipment.
* Perform CPC and weight lifting devices monitoring duties as required.
* Additional duties as assigned.
